RideOn Workshop - Mountain Bike Repair
At Ride-On we take pride in the quality and efficiency of our workshop. The knowledge of our staff members is second to none and we are often the people the experts come to for advice. This is not just a cliché! From their motorbike and engineering backgrounds, our staff boast over 30 years of experience servicing and repairing suspension and hydraulic disc brakes.
The best mechanics need the best tools and our facilities do not let them down. The workshop is equipped with a full range of professional standard tools enabling us to carry out work to the highest possible standard every time.
Services include; bottom bracket facing and tapping, disk brake mount facing, headtube reaming and facing, mech hanger straightening, and race bike preparation. Ride-On is also an official service centre for Shimano, Hope, Magura brakes and suspension, Marzocchi, and Rockshox. We also work closely with these major suspension suppliers to provide customer feedback and new product recommendations.
Our knowledge and skills have been proven when we supported the Intense Cycles Factory Race Team at the Fort William World Cup in 2003. Our mechanics worked on the bikes of Chris Kovarik, Sabrina Jonnier, and David K and kept them running on one of the roughest and testing tracks in the world during top-level competition. We also supplied and built the bike of the 2005 junior DH mountain bike world champion Amiel Cavalier.
